  1. Somethng stinks here and it has to do with the board not being willing to see Phyllis Smith's timeline regarding the bond and the future problems that will be encountered. Imagine the arrogance of a board that refuses to dialog with
Administrator!!!!!!!!! And deVera and his relationship to Blandford. It stinks and it will continue to stink until deVera is gone and Phyllis Smith is back at the helm of the North Star Charter School.

  2. School needs leadership. Who and why was election allowed to run until July 9th? What is gained by prolonging agony? Can the terms and conditions of the loan be posted? What is the penalty for paying it off early and getting a better mortgage? Why won't the current lenders negotiate? Is IB designation worth the cost? Is current administration going to be rehired? Can we get answers?

  3. Why are the board meeting minutes nor being posted in a timely Manner?
How much larger will classes be next year?
How much was teacher pay cut?

  4. So this new board violated their own policy to hire a new dictator whose application was not in on time, hired the dictator anyway, paid her $2079
for travel to the interview, and is now looking to punish teachers who do not like her?
Is this the board or just the out of control lone wolf chair person?

  5. Why is the new financial manager reporting to the Chairperson instead of to the Principal and the FULL BOARD. Is the Chairperson trying to take over the school? Does she not know that she should NOT act as an individual, but only in conjunction with board decisions?
She rammed through her choice for the new Principal, after the deadline. Is this her puppet to carry out her need to punish teachers and take control of the school?
The staff morale at NSCS is very low. They are trying to go on doing their jobs, but the Chairperson/dictator and her puppet Principal are making it very hard to remain positive.

  6. The truth is in the outcome. Both the out of control chairperson and her puppet are gone.
What an expensive little game of wasting taxpayer dollars. I really hope some of these witch board members are held accountable the failure of the bond.
